14th June,1931.

Dear Mr. Clauson,

With reference to my interview with you in

connection with the taking over of the Hong Kong Wireless

Services by the International and Imperi al Communications

Company, I interviewed Sir Edward Davson and had a long

and most interesting talk with him. He explained to

me that certain proceedure had now been agreed upon in

connection with the scheme as a whole and that the

Advisory Committee were now waiting the Company's decision

as to how far they would go on these lines.

He very kindly requested that I would inform

him when I was next in London, when he wished me to meet

Sir Norman Leslie who is Secretary to the Advisory

Committee, so that I may be informed as to the position

before returning to Hong Kong.

Clauson Esq.,

Colonial Office,

Downing Street,

LONDON.

Yours truly,

Stttung
